Guarujá and the São Paulo Coast
At 90 km from São Paulo, Guarujá has shopping malls, restaurants, discos and beaches that surprise with their emerald water and intense vegetation. Eden and Pernambuco are the quietest, Iporanga is famous for its waterfall and Pitangueiras, in the center, is the busiest. From San Sebastian and after 20 minutes on a raft is Ilhabela, distinguished and protected: 85% of the territory is preserved as a State Park. Ecotourism and diving are the order of the day and the favorite beach is Curral. More privacy in Eustaquio, Bonete or Anchovas beach, of difficult access.
At 225 km from São Paulo, Ubatuba is one of the most beautiful cities. Because of its waves it has gained fame as the capital of surfing. Do not miss the Seven Fountains Beach: small, deserted and with yellow sand.
Carnival Brazil 2022: Rio and Sao Paulo postpone Carnival parades to April holiday
Rio's city government confirmed today the dates and order of parades in Carnival 2022, postponed to April because of the pandemic covid-19. As reported yesterday , the A Series will parade in Sapucaí on April 20 and 21; the Special Group will parade on April 22 and 23; the 24th will be dedicated to the junior schools. Advertisement Finally, the 26th will be for the apuração while the parades of the champions take place on the 30th. Florianopolis, Brazil.. The journey not the arrival matters. I´m the CEO of a web-based benefits-administration company, which gives me the opportunity of visiting new places, the last destination was Florianopolis, Brazil. I spent a lot of time at the downtown, where there are interesting bars, restaurants, boutiques and pastel-painted houses. I visited a trendy movie house shows art films and
fasionable retroclassics with cheap tickets.
A good restaurant, not far from the bus station, which recalls a an 18th century country inn with its dark paneling, serves an unique impeccable pan-cooked bass with a fricasse of zucchini, olives and chorizo sausage, the whole topped with croutons. I made friendship with a funny guy, who was working (illegally) in bars and going out every night to the best discos.
One day, to do things quickly I took a 2 hour-taxi tour. It was great and besides cheap.One of the top five favorite places to visit is the Ponte Hercilio Luz, Florianopolis, Santa Catarina SC -Brazil .

Argentina: High Mountain Tour in Mendoza
We visited the city of Mendoza Argentina and made the high mountain excursion to enter the Andes Mountain Range and reach almost the border with Chile.
There are many companies that provide this tour, although they all go to the same places of interest and make similar tours. We did it with the agency Cepas, hiring the service through Despegar (Argentine PesoAR $1700 each , price 2019).
The usual route is: Cacheuta (non-stop), Potrerillos (photo stop), Uspallata, Cerro Obispo (photo stop), entrance to Aconcagua Provincial Park, Las Cuevas (lunch stop), back to Mendoza city we stopped at a place where there was snow and then at Puente del Inca.
